madrick is full of nonsense. His calim that large doses of government spending willnot ignite inflation because the economic crisis is so deep that ther will be huge empty manufacturing and other underused production facilities does not cut it. the fact that their is underutilization of production and other asreas and that government largesses willnot in the short term or long term create inflation negates the fact that underutilised facilities no matter what type need investment and that takes time while the currency is already in the market palce creating havoc. infglation is too much availablitly of money or assets for too little availablity of goodsa.
In the final analysis the more governemtn the less freedom. We already ahvve a serious advance of fascism in this coutry o to government and it is accelerating.
